Reset Button

So I was reading in Wired that of the 12.7 million or so people registered on Blogger, roughly 10 million are either inactive or never got started. Well, I'm still here, just incredibly indifferent. Sploggers be gone.

Lexington has been in the news the last two days, what with the worst domestic airplane accident in years happening exactly 7 miles from our house. And, no, nobody that we know was anywhere near being on the plane, thankfully.

Heather is now past the halfway mark. The more that things like walking and bending over become difficult, the more I hear phrases like "You did this to me!"

And of course, no August entry would be complete without thinking ahead to next weekend and the real beginning of college football. The UK team irritated me last week when the whole team walked across the road during rush hour blocking traffic for 5 minutes. I mean, if they were good and people respected them, fine, just maybe, that might be fine. But these losers don't deserve a free pass to block traffic. I'm tempted to go watch Georgia beat them in person. But that might be too much, except our neighbors are rabid Georgia fans which would make it even more fun.

By the way, it's a boy, he appears healthy and his name will be Samuel James (as of right now). Brian wasn't sure if we wanted people to know

Maybe you can name the next baby Imrickjamesbitch, Brian, but I think Samuel is a nice name. Best of all, sounds like he's healthy!

Thanks guys, actually Brian is stretching the truth a bit. I actually enjoy being pregnant with a few exceptions (I miss margaritas and rare hamburgers ). I am feeling great now that we know he's going to be normal. We just know too much sometimes.
