Spring has Sprung

Happy April. I had a nice day after awakening very, very late of digging in the yard. It's fun to move grass that is unwanted in one area to another area where it is needed. I mowed the yard for the first time this spring today too. Really tall grass that could have been mowed well before now. It was also the first time that I had mowed the grass since we got Emma. Apparently she is going to be one of those dogs who barks at the lawnmower while it runs. Hilarity. Most importantly I have finished the most difficult rotation that I have had all year and maybe now can relax a little more. Yo.

I cannot imagine what a lawnmower would do to Bess (not really an issue here as I have no desire to grow grass in the desert). Does the vaccum excite your dog? Bess is frightened to the point of near hysterics by the Oreck. A lawnmower might well make her catatonic. Dogs are great.
